Plants (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/plants) is an international, scientific, peer-reviewed, open access, SCIE, PubMed and Scopus indexed journal published monthly online by MDPI. The first journal impact factor will be released in June 2019. Those who are interested in publishing the works presented in FV2019 are cordially invited to try to do it in the special issue "Selected Papers from the XXIII Meeting of the Spanish Society of Plant Physiology and the XVI Hispano-Portuguese Congress of Plant Physiology (FV2019)”. Submissions to this Special Issue are accepted from the conference attendees and their co-authors. Papers selected for this Special Issue will be subjected to a rigorous peer-review procedure. The article processing charge for publication in this special issue is 550 Swiss Francs (ap. 480 euros). Time for manuscript submission starts in 1 July and ends in 15 January 2020. FV2019 will award the following scientific excellence prizes to young scientists:
